Happy Birthday Honey!

For Ken's Birthday I decided to buy tickets to the "Opening concert and gala" of the Seattle Symphony. They featured guest soloists Samuel Ramey and Fredericka von Stade. (for those of you who don't know, 2 big names in opera) We had a fabulous time! Seattle Symphony Hall (gorgeous isn't it? and so much better without a flash)
(don't worry--without my flash, during the clapping :)
Me all dressed up for the Symphony!
My "avant-garde" Space Needle
We took this pic after our "little adventure" in Seattle
(Ken took a wrong turn in Seattle which led us into the "express lane" on the freeway going the wrong way up over a bridge and lost at 10:30 (an hour away from home) with sick babies at home.) It's ok honey, it could've happened to anyone.
Really, my husband is an amazing man. He provides for our family, is a great priesthood holder in our home, always is trying to make me happy, and even cooks, does the dishes, and cleans my bathrooms for me! I love you, Happy Birthday! For his B-day dinner he wanted to go to the Melting Pot,
But--To save money after our big trip to Seattle, we decided to do fondue at home instead of at the Melting Pot. And with gruyere cheese fondue and Peter's Chocolate fondue--I think it came pretty close.
FYI, this was w/o a flash on a tripod. Exposed only by candlelight :) Cool heat waves from the candles, huh?
